The innovative ONYX PAINT PROCESSING SYSTEM as a cup-in-cup solution, combines the advantages of comparable systems, the easy handling enables painters an efficient, fast and clean painting process.
In addition, the consumption of cleaning agents and solvents is drastically reduced, thus not only saving material costs and time for cleaning work, but also greatly reducing the environmental impact.
During development and production, we focused not just on good stability and high quality, but also on the ecological footprint during painting. The disposable inner cup, the lid and the caps are made from 50 % recycled plastic. This reuse significantly reduces the amount of plastic waste put into circulation compared to other paint processing systems and makes a valuable contribution to a sustainable circular economy.

Sealing cap
Extra large cap enables to store the cup system upside down with unused paint.

Strainer
Removable strainer enables quick change according to the viscosity of the fluid to be used. The different colour ensure a clear distinction and efficient process reliability:
blue = 125 μm strainer
red = 190 μm strainer

Disposable
inner cup
Disposable inner cup made from extra smooth and flexible polyethylene for the best possible paint flow. Ideal for frequent and quick colour change. Due to the resulting vacuum during application, overhead painting (360°) is possible and maximum use of colour is guaranteed.

Reusable
outer cup
Robust reusable outer cup with seven different mixing scales. Access window allows you to hold the inner cup to remove the lid when refilling or after finishing the painting process.

Cup system

Before using
1. Insert the flexible, disposable inner cup into the stable, reusable outer cup. Mix the paint right in the disposable inner cup.
2. Press the strainer into the provided recess in the lid (note: blue strainer = 125 μm, red strainer = 190 μm). Press the lid with the inserted strainer on the stable reusable outer cup and turn until it locks.
3. Choose the right adapter and attach it to the spray gun. Rotate the spray gun by 180° and lock the adapter to the cover using light pressure and a simultaneous turn.
4. Pull the trigger of the spray gun until paint flows. This allows existing air to escape before starting the painting process.
5. Then rotate the spray gun back to its original position and regulate the air pressure according to the paint manufacturer‘s specifications – the system is now ready for use.
After the painting process
Disassembly
After the painting process, disconnect the air supply, turn the spray gun upside down again and pull the trigger. The excess paint is captured in this way. Remove the spray gun by turning and pulling at the same time.
Storage
To store the unused paint, close the lid airtight. The extralarge cap offers the possibility to store upside down and thus prevents a drying out of the strainer.
Disposal
After the paint has been completely used up, the disposable components of the system have to dispose according to the regional regulations. If the reusable outer cup once needs to be changed, then the used one can be fed into the conventional polypropylene recycling circuit.
